Mineplex ban - any idea what this means?

    Hi folks; popping my Minecraft cherry here so go easy! My 9 year old son has been banned off the mineplex servers for 'fly hacking'
    I don't know what this even means and neither does he. Can anyone advise what this is about? Can I get this reversed for him? He just wants to play multiplayer with his cousins every once in a while.

    Sounds like he used a Mod (add-on to his Minecraft client) so that he could fly, on a particular Mineplex server where flying is not allowed (e.g. a Survival Mode server).

    I wouldn't mind the ability to fly on the Boards Survival server, but if I modded my client to permit that, I'd get banned for it.
