Where to get damaged disks repaired.

Our son has managed to scratch some Wii disks and made the games unplayable. Is there any place that can repair these but which won't cost an arm and a leg? The games themselves are dear enough so I'd rather try to get the disks repaired before shelling out for new ones.
I'm happy to post them or drop them into somewhere in Dublin.

Not sure if they still do, but GameStop do disk repairs. Worth a call at least to confirm it. Probably a few euro per disk.

Gamestop won't do disk repairs. CEX will and possibly Smyths.

I got a few done a few weeks ago in smyths. Think it was either €5 or €6 per disc. Working as good as new. Not all smyths do it so best to ring first.

Gamestop don't do a repair on the spot, but if they have a second hand copy of the scratched game they will exchange it for a fee (5-7 euro depending on the value of the game).

I've used discrepair.ie in the past for XBOX and Wii games. Great service

The game publisher will replace for s nominal fee. There's usually a contact for that in the back of the manual

The CEX in Galway will do disc repairs for €2 a pop. I'd assume the Dublin ones are the same.

Just remember, if the disc is scratched too badly, i don't think there's anything that can be done :(
