Why do you need one, may I ask?
Current GPUs have built in screen capture with very little overhead.

I don't know a huge amount about it, but Hauppage seems to be the brand name I see cropping up all the time with capture technology. If you check out the streaming sites like Twitch.tv or MLG.tv they probably have recommendations too.

Actually bought a HD60 from the Elgato site last night. Same sort of usage planed for it, console streaming/videos.
Elgato Vs Avermedia is the big battle in game capture devices these days.
The software that comes with the devices have a pretty big effect on reviews I read.
Elgato wins on this with Avermedia in next and hauppauge way behind.
I'll try to update when I receive the device and get some hours on it.
