    Hi,
A friend of mine has a Humminbird Matrix 65 fishfinder, when they switch it on it simply shows a black line!
He tried looking for spare parts online but had no luck.
Does anyone here know about this problem he is experiencing?
Are there online stores were spare parts could be sourced?
    Thanks in advance ;-)

Hi, recently my humminbird 597cihd is showing vertical lines randomly, stops for a while & then returns is it possibly my settings or battery power? Have some pictures il try to upload if it's any help. Any help would be much appreciated.

I'm no expert but there might be a problem with the transducer. I've had similar problems in the past with a Garmin, check the connection to the the screen, look for any green parts on the end of the transducer lead that may be signs of corrosion.
The wires within the transducer lead might be damaged or twisted perhaps another possibility.
