    Hi all,
Considering going looking at a car that I saw on RWCC.ie. Did a search here to see was there any feedback on them but found nothing. Based in Clane in Co Kildare but seem to be fairly new as I think website was only set up in April.

Any info would be appreciated as just want to be sure before I part with hard earned money.

    Thanks

No personal experience but I have noticed that some examples of cars they are selling seem to be on the cheap side compared to other similar cars. Some of the photos look photo shopped to me too which doesn't inspire confidence. I'd tend to go with my gut feeling I get from that.

Registered as a sole trader, seems to have a lot of experience in the trade if I've found the right guy. Could be a side-project or second business importing cars alongside another part-time or full-time job. I'd get them on the phone and ask to visit or meet, go with gut instinct on how it feels.

Rang them yesterday and it seems to go though to a call center type thing. Asked them about the car and the lady on the phone said she would get someone to call me back. Still waiting 30 hours later so not a good sign!

Looks and sounds to me like it's a guy with a full-time job in a dealership who is running an import business on his own time. Assuming that's right, it's not necessarily a problem if he's providing a good service and has a lot of experience with importing, but you'd want to have a good straight chat with him and ensure you're happy everything is kosher.

Hello, yep ordered a car from the UK. Arrived as described. The car failed their own pre-inspection for a weak clutch. The clutch was replaced by them at no cost before we took the car. It cost them 1200 euro.
Dealt with Alfie in Ireland and Tommy who's based in the UK. Got a written warranty when we picked up the car. I've had the car a couple of weeks and noticed a few small things. Rang Alfie back and there was no problem to book the car in to get them sorted. Is going in this week.
Its a no frills set up but i only want to pay for a car when I buy it not the garages show rooms. Based on my experiences to date I'd buy from them again with no hesitation. If I experience any problems getting the other things sorted this week I'll let you know.
