Fidge warm, freezer too cold. vent unblocked

    Folks,
    I have a problem, the fridge is warm and the freezer is too cold. I opened it and saw that the fan is running and the vents are unblocked.
    I poked a wire into the vent in the fridge part and could see it come out the freezer.
    It's a Samsung RL34lgtc no frost.

    What opens the vent is it continually opened?

    unplug the fridge freezer as the evaporator is clogged up with ice and needs to be defrosted, if it clogs up again within 9/10 days it has heater defrost failure
