    Hi there!

My brother and I (both mid-30s) are planning to take a 5-day break in mid-October. I just wonder if anyone might have any suggestion for places to go.

    We're looking for:

    - Direct flight from Cork / Dublin to somewhere near the destination
    - Somewhere relaxing, where we can choose to relax at the hotel
    - Somewhere warm
    - Near the sea
    - Not in a big city, but in a small town with nice restaurants and things to see
    - Preferably a really nice (4-star) hotel at reduced prices (e.g. 100 euro per night) because it's October

We're currently considering somewhere in the Algarve, the French Riviera or somewhere in Italy.

If you've been anywhere that might suit, I'd really appreciate some tips!

    Pretty much Italy there.

Try down the south east...beautiful villages on the coast and hotel prices shouldn't be expensive.
