    Hi all,
Does anyone have any experience of any of the Haven holiday parks in the UK, particularly the ones in Wales or Cornwall. Would you recommend, what 'grade' of mobile did you stay in, local attractions, what 'park' activities are included in the price?

    Appreciate the help.

Went to Hafan y Môr in 2004 for 2 weeks as family of 5, childern were 14, 12 and 4.
We booked the ferry and the accommodation seperate at the time which was a good deal cheaper than booking the whole holiday from the ferry company.
We booked an apartment, sliver platinum if I remember correctly which was supposed to be the mid range type of apartment.
When we got there it was filthy and the next one they gave us was no better and we just ended up spending the first day cleaning it ourselves. We had holidays in Mosney (before it closed) and Trabolgan and other places like this so we were quite used to a bit of give and take on the accomadation side but this place was just old and tattered.
Activities were not great to be honest, besides the pool which had very peculiar opening times there was not much else to do unless you wanted to pay extra for it, slot machines, go karts bumpers etc and the evening entertainment was not great either. We ended up using it as a base and went on a lot of day trips.
That was 10 year ago so it might be different now

We have stayed at Kiln Park and Quay West in South Wales. Kiln park has more facilities and Tenby is a busier town with more facilities. We always booked our mobile with the owners directly. You will get a better equipped and cleaner mobile that way. There are many sites with owners details eg

    www(DOT)ukcaravans4hire(DOT)com
    www(DOT)directholidayhomes(DOT)co(DOT)uk
    www(DOT)westwales-caravans(DOT)co(DOT)uk

Note you will have to pay extra for the entertainment passes!

Stena seem to do good deals with accomodation included.

    Enjoy!
