    Hey,

Me and a friend are currently restoring a house together. We are going to strip the old staircase of its paint so that its back to bare pine. We've started it using some paint stripper but it seems to be very slow, and the spindles are a pain.

Anyone have any tips on how to speed up the process?

    Paul

Use Nitromors..that's the only thing I can think of.
Or you can get them dipped. They're dipped in big vats of solution and cleaned, but you'll have to Google 'cos I'm not sure who'd do it.
