Was over in the large garden centre in Duboyne on the N3 (Plantgen) and pick this up. Something out of the ordinary to brighten the garden up for the next 4-5months:(. Resaonable at €13

A bit too bright for my feeding stations I'm afraid. :)

Am wondering if that bright red colour may put them off.
Lets us know how it goes :)

There is a somewhat dodgy theory that Goldfinches and Siskins are attracted to red feeders, I think it came about when people started hanging out nuts in those red mesh thingies and along came the Finches that hadn't been there before. Anyone heard this or is it total rubbish?

All good so far, starlings are starting to come back in their droves. There not to happy that the bird table has been made starling proof :D
