Seems like a neat idea. Has been in a lot of media outlets this week.

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2767865/Thats-handy-Design-firm-creates-bicycle-saddle-double-sup-lock.html

A design company believes it has revolutionised cycling by creating a bike saddle that doubles up as a heavy duty lock.

The 'Seatylock', which fits any type of bike, is a saddle that comes off and quickly transforms into a strong lock when cyclists need to leave their bike.

This eliminates the need for cyclists to carry around heavy locks as the Seatylock is built into the bike.

Is it as secure as one of those heavy locks? This is expensive.
