Maybe have a look at this site http://www.myhobby.ie/clubs/longford/. No idea if it's that sort of thing you mean. Good luck hope you find something

there's crochet and possibly knitting classes a few places. try Ardagh heritage Centre the flower shop in e town or the baldy sheep in town.
