Hi, my hubby was out of work and we were both claiming social welfare and we have 3 children. My hubby has just got a job, starting in 1 weeks time. He will be earning 125 / day and I'm wondering if I will still qualify for my JSA? Can't figure it out from the social welfare website at all. Any info appreciated.

Not sure but suspect his income will at least substantially reduce your JSA

However you may be entitled to family income supplement

JSA is calculated on gross earnings less prsi,union dues and avcs. Assuming €125 per day is gross and its 5 days pw then you will get €63 pw approx. FIS is calculated on nett earnings.
