Recommendation for a Camera for Synology NAS

    Looking for a recommendation for an IP CCTV camera for a Synology NAS, area in question have a Cat5e cable to it but has little lighting so it will need to potentially operate in the dark. happy with a fixed unit. Synology website says there are 2000 compatible units - anyone able to recommend / suggest any particular make / model that works & is good value?

    I've used this one and have been happy with it - it works reasonably well in the dark and gives a good picture during the day.

    They are rebadged Foscam cameras, so you just set it up as a FOSCAM FI8601W in SurveilanceStation and it works immediately.

    When you get the camera, you have to hook it up to an ethernet cable to configure it, but I find the Wireless nature to be of use... if you just want a wired one you could get one from tmart.com
