    Do you need to get a media pass to take photos at the game or because your in the stands your allowed to take them

    I'd say it would be no problem from the stands but you need a media pass for pitch side

    Why not approach the team and ask them can you get a press pass?
    Obviously tell them your an avid photographer, give them link to your website with sports pics (if you have one) so they know you're competent.

    I approached Connacht Rugby and have gotten press passes several times & I'm an amateur.

    You need a media pass in the pitch side.
