Anyone else having this issue? Trying to call the Finglas Inteo center, it auto picks up and have to maneuver through menus, then it rings and rings and rings. Have spend about €15 this week calling.

I find the staff helpful, but it's all for nothing if I can't get through.
Trying to get switched to BETA, have filled the forms and sent the letters. Will probably have to take 2 hours out to make a trip to spend 2 minutes face to face with someone to find out why it hasn't gone through.
    /rant.

Where do you live that it'll take you an hour to get to the Finglas office? It's well known that the SWO hardly answer their phones, they want you to go into them. Sure wouldn't it be a lot easier for people to scam if all they had to do was ring for everything.

The Hanover St office in Cork don't answer phones either. Seems to be catching!

You'd best call in. That's the only way you'll get through...

I sent them the letter required to switch me over having filled all the forms months ago (was also on BETA last year). I'm not expecting them to take my word about it in a phone call.

I don't live that far from the office but College is 75 - 90 minutes away depending on traffic. Twice in the last 2 weeks I've gotten through to a human, asked me my PPS number both times and then shunted me back into the phone system to the sound of unending ringing.

I had the exact same issue in my local office. Took me over half an hour to get through and then once they had finished their introduction they hung up.
