    Hi,

    How does the VAT works when buying a software online?

    Often I pay the price shown (assuming the VAT in included) regardless of the provider being in the US or EU.
    Does this mean the provider has included the VAT in the price?

    how would the VAT be applied to this scenario where the provider is in the US, I am in Europe. All I have is an invoice for the product and its price.

    I know VAT is at point of entry so should it be listed as VAT 23%?
