Hi, I have a laptop thats about 2.5 years old. I use the wifi in college and on the 3 dongle at home and it works fine, no problems watching things like RTE player. However for my college house, we've just got UPC wifi, one of the faster ones. For some reason my laptop cant seem to handle the wifi on it, the internet is ridiculously slow and RTE player wont work at all. I can watch youtube but its a bit slow to load up. My housemates have mac books and I have a samsung phone and they work perfectly on the UPC wifi.

Any ideas how I can improve the wifi/speed of internet/whats going wrong? Sorry about the lack of technical knowledge, Im pretty technophobe.
