Condensation inside rear window

    Hi,

Recently bought a used car and over the last few days I'm getting condensation on the inside of the rear window. It's like this anytime the car has been off for a few hours no matter what time of the day. All other windows are clear.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks,
    Alan.

Check for water in the boot particularly in the spare wheel well.

I've done this, all seems bone dry to me. Checked the rubber seals too and all seem okay.

use air con for a while if you have it, it dosent need to be set to cold, but it has a dryer which should help get rid of humidity in the car.

Could be a crack in the window.

Odd that it's only the rear window. The pollen filter is worth checking. If it hasn't been changed in some time that you may not be getting any outside air which could be the cause.

What car/year/model? Some are more prone to "quirks" than others.

Have you tried giving the window a good clean OP?
