This might be useful/interesting for anyone thinking of starting a technology company (and probably more widely for anyone interested in entrepreneurship). Sam Altman is the president of YCombinator, a leading accelerator based in the Bay Area.

He has pulled together a course on starting a company that is being offered at Stanford this semester, leveraging the best material from multiple years of the YCombinator program, and all content will be online. Should provide lots of insight - they have organized a great line-up of speakers. The first session was this week, and it will run through to December.
