    Hi All, Strongly considering buying what looks like a solid car off this guy over the weekend coming. Based on discussions here I wonder should I do it, and am I better avoiding. From what I can see, basically the problem is with this guy Karl being a bit of a t**l, but nothing negative on the cars, other than him talking them up a bit.

    Anyone have any recent experience dealing with him? Not really interested in hearing what people think of the guy or his means, but more what the cars are like.

    Any replies would be greatly appreciated

    Myself and my brother both both very high end cars off them couple years ago, we dealt with Karl also

    Tbh I found them excellent, if you want a salesman that makes you tea and holds your hand it's not the place for you, we told him EXACTLY what we wanted, make model year mileage right down to colour and spec and told him once he got them contact us and we'd buy.

    He had my bro sorted in a few weeks and I got a call off him about 4 weeks later with few options that I rejected, another couple of weeks later, he was in the UK at main dealers and was standing beside vehicle that was what I wanted exactly

    He took loads if photos that I requested, inside, outside, have me chassis info (I then could get exact spec off UK distributors). The deal we struck was I put a deposit for about 2k in his company account to demonstrate I wasn't time waster, he brought the car over on a trailer, I met him in Dublin, got car checked out fully and did the deal. If I has decided not to buy the 2k was fully refundable, we got this in writing beforehand from him without any issue

    Both cars were immaculate and we never had an issues.

    It's a recommendation from me. I'm aware that he had issues before but we went in with eyes wide open and has no issues

    He can be hard to get on the phone etc but he always got back to us on any relevant issues.

    Thanks Bandara. Good to hear. Like you say, I don't want to befriend him and just looking to buy something from him that is what he says it is. Have got a full Cartell report on line on the Car In question including UK Part, and all seems in line with what he said. Think I will go ahead with him. Thanks.
