    Hi,

Can you teach the third subject you take in your first year of undergrad up to Junior Cert level on qualification as a teacher?

    Thanks.

You need 60 credits of subject appropriate modules to fulfill the teaching councils criteria for qualified in a subject. There is no such thing as 'teaching a subject to junior cert' with the exception of subjects like Business studies which are JC only. However you would need 60 credits of business to teach it too

    In reality if you are
    a) qualified in typically 2 main subjects in degree
You may be at times be timetabled for a related subject, a 3rd subject usually small amount at JC level.
