Hi, I have an internal stone wall and I will be finishing the floor to it with wood floor - what are the options for the finish between the 2? The stone is not straight enough for skirting (And I dont like the idea of skirting stone), and it will be difficult to install the wood around the stone. Is there some sort of trim I could use?

Scalloping - snaking cut of timber to match stone profile is very very very difficult. Even when skilfully done right it can simply look wrong.
    So be bold.

Stop the timber 25-50mm short of the wall and paint the concrete black.

Another option I have seen done on a very old house that looks well is to cut the stone so the board slips into a groove in the stone. Difficulty depends on variation in the amount that the stone protrudes. You could combine this with profiling the board.
