Well lads. As above I have a 1.8 diesel mondeo with a wet timing belt in for a change.

    Anyone done one of these?
    How long do they take?
    Any special tools required?
    Thanks in advance.

I've done 3 in the last week and there is another one sitting outside ready to come in as I type this.

The first one you do will take you the best part of a day, after that you will hopefully get a bit faster.

Special tools needed are the normal 1.8 diesel crank timing pin and cam setting bar, plus a good torque wrench. The wet belt itself doesn't require any special tools.
