Ploughing 2014

    Saw the New Zealand Suffolk at the Ploughing.
    Impressive stock ram. nice pointy snout. there were 2 half Irish half NZ ram lambs there too - didn't look anything special to me but these were the only 2 he had remaining out of over 30 this year. Also there were some half NZ suffolk / half Belclare ewe lambs. Looked very nice.

    Other than that i was looking at the green sheep slats. There were about 5 or 6 selling these. Prices were from €40 - €50 + vat per sq metre

    Does there be many sheep on show at the ploughing?.....is it just rams or females as well?
