    Hey all,

I need to get some sort of a video player for my mum (not technical). I was thinking of a Raspberry Pi and connecting a 2.5" external HD up to it. But I dunno if those are still the best option with all the alternatives that have been out in recent terms.

So basically I'm looking for suggestions on alternatives if a Rasp Pi isn't a good option anymore.

    Cheers!
