I need to stick some plastic stuff to some material stuff:)Its for Halloween decorations. Is a hot glue gun the best method of doing this? If so where should I purchase and any guides on usage? This is all completely new to me

Yes a hot glue gun should work, just be very careful they are really hot. You can get them in the art and hobby shop or argos for about 15 - 20 euro, both are pretty much the same, what material are you trying to glue. Also just remember you need to work pretty fast when working with hot glue as it cools very quickly.
