Redundancy through the Social Insurance Fund

    Hi i've been made redundant and the company cant pay my redundancy. My RP50 has been completed and sent to the department of social insurance.

    Q. Does anyone have an idea of the time frame i will be waiting to get paid out?

    My took just over 2 months for redundancy to come (but the companys liquidation was well publicised by media, some say it was rushed throught because of this, true or not don't know),the back paid or holiday pay if owed took longer, 6 months, this is taxable.

    Mine took about 4 weeks or so, I was surprised at how quick it was
