Teachers view of bullying

Wondering about this how do teachers view bullying, because teachers are dealing with children/teenagers day in day our year in year out so they would have a much broader view of the subject.

Do you think awareness, school policies, talks etc, have any effect on reducing bullying or do you think its something that will never be eliminated.

What in your opinion is the rout cause of bullying among children.

The root cause is parenting. The child either sees people being treated in a certain way and is taught that it is acceptable, or is treated that way themselves, or is not chastised for treating others like that. Parents are the ones that handle that and I agree absolutely, some children can be very cruel, but again, it's down to what they have learned (usually at home) is acceptable.
