Last week I sought advice from the boards regarding a suitable piece of kit to quit smoking. Thanks for all the replies & great advice. To start with I am going to order an aspire spinner starter kit from e-smoke. I decided to start with this mid range to see how i get on. I haven't ordered yet but I'm planning the big change for this weekend! EEK!

Now for the next question.....E LIQUIDS. I current smoke 15-20 marlboro lights per day. Should I try to start with a flavor to mimmick the fags (if so which?) or go for an entirely different flavour and if so what should i be looking at? Ideally if I could get all from E-Smoke it would be great.

Also what strength and how long should i use it before dropping the nicotine levels?

Also how long could I expect a 10ml or 30ml bottle to last me?

Also by the way. With the starter kit i will be getting the ET-S BDC Clearomizers. Can i use the Aspire BVC coils with this or should i stick to the replacement BDC coils. It is just that I have read that the BVC are superior. I want to order a few replacements so that I will not be STUCK.

    Thanks

I used to smoke Marlboro lights when I was on the analogs. Been vaping nearly 3 years now. You'll never get an eliquid that tastes like a marlboro light, or any fag for that matter. You can get eliquids that taste like the aroma of tobacco. I mostly vape "tobacco" type eliquids. The stuff I get is from oksmokey.com. They are a UK outfit but pretty much any of their tobacco eliquids (I think) taste great. You may not think so however as taste, as anyone on here will tell you, is very subjective. I'm living in the UK these days so buy all my eliquid from site based here, so someone else should be able to recommend some of the irish based sites.

I never got in to any of the sweet(s) type of liquids as I found most of them tasted the same. When I get bored of the tobacco's I do quite like spearmint. Enjuice.co.uk do a great spearmint flavoured one. I'm also partial to citrus flavoured ones.

Snake Oil is a great liquid too. Have some in my stash. But starting off I'd recommend you buy several 5ml bottles and see what takes your fancy.

I got through 2-3 mls of eliquid per day. So a 30ml bottle should last 10-12 days depending. I started on 18mgs strength, I would recommend you do the same. I vape 6mg/11mg these days as I'm trying to cut down. I never tried anything higher than 18mg.

Order the wingnuts sample kit when you order your spinner starter kit.

Read the descriptions and see what you fancy.

No the BVC coils wont fit in the clearo but Aspire did update the BDC so they are quite good. I've tried loads of juices and have found you cant go wrong with the Wingnuts range. If you're near either of the E-smoke shops (Palmerstown or Ennis) they have them all out to sample plus loads of others. Ecovape in Bray have some too.

I started on a tobacco flavour but within a week went on too minty/menthol flavours.

God I hate the term, 'analogs'.

Ive been using Decadent Vapours flavouring in my DIY mix. 50 PG/ 40 VG/ 10 flavour. Their American Red and American Gold (Marlboro Red/ Marlboro lights) are the best tobacco flavour ive found and really arent far off at all.

Yeh, BDC's work great for me.

if you're on 15-20 a day I would start out at 24mg juice if I were you.
Aspire Spinner kit would be a good start and contrary to one of the above post say the BVC coils WILL be compatible .....see below taken from e-smoke web site....
I have also myself put BVC coils in a Maxi just make sure you don't get the ones for the Nautilus by accident as they wont fit.

Compatible with common BDC clearomizer series such as the ET, ET-S,CE5,CE5-S and Maxi. (1.6ohm)

I was the same at the start. The mistake I made was buying up everything and anything in 20ml and 30ml sizes. Most of which are still sitting in my drawer. I say hold off until you know what you like.

Cloud house vapor do 5 X5ml samples for cheap enough. Ive worked my way through most of them at this stage and am happy enough with 3 or 4 I use constantly.

then just buy a bog standard tobacco flavour to tide you over initially...

Id recommend the Italian ejuices made by Dea (available from smokedifferent). nemesis and hazelnut in particular.

Thanks a lot lads for the quick and useful replies. I opted for the Cigarillos as my free sample with the starter kit. I also purchased the Wingnuts sample pack to see what takes my fancy. Hopefully delivery tomorrow and fingers crossed a vaper rather than a smoker soon.

    Thanks all.
