    Hi all,

Could any of you recommend a good Full Sus 29er/650b Mountain Bike for under €1,500? I was thinking a Canyon but is there anything else with good spec for good money?

    Thanks :-)

    Have a look here http://www.bike-discount.de/en/shop/mountain-bike-8495/l-24/o-preis

I don't have one of their full sus but have a 26" Hardtail and have zero complaints. I did a fair bit of research before buying and they seemed to offer the best value for money at the time (May 14)

My only gripe is that there is now a 15% discount on the model I got - Grrrhhh

Something by giant could be a good bet,the entry level stance or trance could fit the bill. Cube have some fairly tasty stuff too,and some of it could be in the correct price range. Best bet would be to go into some bike shops and see how they feel on you. This is a good time of year to be shopping as the 2014 range will be getting price reductions to make way for the 2015 stock,so you could end up with a better bike than you bargained for

Not too much experience with dual sus 29ers but last year rode a kona hei hei deluxe 2011 for about 6 months, I got it on ebay for just under 1k€. Nice bike with a Fox RP2 and Reba dual air fork. Didn't really see the need for DS, I ride a mix of CX and trail and for the amount of time it allowed me to put the power down through the rough stuff I couldn't see the need for all those pivots. I'm riding a Ragley big wig hard tail now, 130mm revelations 20mm axle up front and it's just brilliant. The front end is kept down with flat bars so it doubles as a CX and hardcore trail bike. Super frame only non generic thing is the 44mm headset, nice steel and paint job is still perfect after nearly a year. Maybe something like this is a more fun option. Got the frame and forks new for under £450stg at the time although the headset was another £40.

Giant Stance, 650B, full sus, for about 1.2K.... good place to start maybe... or something secondhand for more spec....
