If you're in Dublin, I've found summer hill spares are excellent for parts for 92-97 corollas.

Private jap import or dealer's jap import?

    Not sure. Bought second hand.

    What's the difference?

Traynors in the north delivers to many places nationwide and usually have lots of spares. Link in the sticky I linked to.

    Loads of differences.

Look at identification plate located in engine bay. If it has VIN number (17 characters, beginning from JT...) it's official, dealer's import. If it hasn't, look here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japanese_domestic_market#VIN
