HTC One (M8)

Upgraded my phone today from iphone4 to the HTC One M8 in Carphone Warehouse today for €29 ( i'm a 3 customer but same upgrade with them was €79 !?!).
Opened box up this evening and have found that the iphone4 sim ( mini ) does not fit the HTC ( nano ).... should Carphone Warehouse have given me a new SIM ?? Is there an extra cost for a SIM ?

When my iPhone 5 died I bought a filler phone, which used a different sized sim. They gave me an adapter a bit like this:

Phone stores probably have them in stock, I'm sure if you go back to the CPW and explain the sim doesn't fit, they'll throw one in for free.

Awaiting my M8 today - cost me €119 on Three, so you got a steal of a deal. I dropped to a lower contract though, it would have bee €55 I believe otherwise.
