Hi, I'm looking to do an experimental archaeology project casting some bronze age swords using soapstone moulds.

Does anyone know where I could find some large pieces.

I know the art supply shop in cork does some, but its quite small chunks.

Ideally i'd be looking to make something like this - or bigger:

I dont know where you are going to get soapstone but would you think of casting a block/blocks of plaster and then carving into that?
