Applying for Hdip without finishing degree?

    Hello there,

I am a 4th year student, looking into applying for the Hdip in NUIG. I have looked up closing dates and applications but when I apply I will not be finished my undergraduate degree.

    Is this a problem?

Or do I have to apply in a different manner to graduates?

If so, how do I apply?

I am sorry if these questions have been asked before, I asked in the PDGE/Hdip questions and answers thread but I've been unanswered for about a month now..

Thank you to anybody who helps.

I was in the same boat myself back in the day. It's the same for everyone. I forget exactly how it works out but from what I recall, they base your application on your third year results (possibly provisionally, depending on your final year results). Someone who's done it more recently might be able to clarify it. You can definitely apply without having your final results though. Or at least you could when I did it.

Thank you. That's great! I shall start filling out application and have a look up for more!

I'd say they'll look at you last set of results.
