Amazon refund

    An Amazon reseller issued a refund but I haven't received a credit to my card. How long should it take?

    Do I chase it with Amazon or the seller. The transaction never showed as complete on my statement.

    Refunds are initiated by the seller but processed by Amazon, so as long as you got an email from Amazon confirming they are processing it, then it should take about 4 days to show in your account

    What do you mean by the transaction never showed as complete? The original payment or the refund?

    The seller says that they have refunded but I have not had confirmation from Amazon.

    The original payment is showing as incomplete

    I can't. Their stupid system does recognise a cancelled order as a query so you can't access chat or phone. I have had to email.

    Does anyone know a phone number for them. I have the "from within the UK" one but not one to call from here.

    The email was to their community forum. It appears that they can't help either. Does anyone have an email address for Amazon UK

    EDIT: Appears that the seller hung on to my money as they thought that I might be interested in another offer !

    Yes just select any previous order you have had with them in the past and start a chat, they will deal with you and they are quite good on there and trying to find the best solution possible.

    My experience of refunds have only been with Amazon fulfilled orders and I usually get one email to say the refund is being processed and then I receive a second email a couple of hours later to say the refund has in fact been completed. The refund usually shows on my card 2-3 working days later.
