Mid 20s crisis

I am having a mid twenties crisis. I had to leave college for personal reasons and my degree is now unfinished so I'm in limbo career wise. I haven't travelled at all or done a huge amount with my life and I feel so down and trapped.

Has this happened to anyone else? My life seems to be passing me by and I feel lost and overwhelmed.

What dreams do you have? Where do you see your life going?

    How are you financially?
    Are you working?
Sometimes education isn't the be and end all, but it can help. We do need more info ...

Don't worry friend. I had a mid-twenties crisis and also dropped out of college. I'm now in my late twenties and have just started college again.

Sorry, I realise now my post was sort of vague!

I was doing a masters which id worked really hard to get to, in a career I really wanted. I loved the masters itself but things got ontop of me and circumstances changed, and as a result I became depressed. I am due to go back soon but am not 100% sure I can handle it as I'm not in a great place at present. Last time I was there everything fell apart and it was awful.

At the same time I want to get it over and done with so I can have the career I want, and I'm unsure of what id do with a year out, although part of me would love to use that time to work on myself. I'm just finding it really tough to make a decision on it, the deadline is looming. I don't feel 100% ready to go back but I'm panicking at the thought of delaying doing a masters and getting the career I really want.

It's a good idea to get into a bit of a routine before going to college or work, because if you don't have one everything seems to revolve around work/college .. when in fact work/college should only be a fraction of your life.
By routine I mean getting up and going to bed at a reasonable time, doing regular exercise, putting time in with friends/relationships/family, working on hobbies or interests, and actually taking some time out to figure what you really want in life (do you actually know what career you want, or do you just think you'll get your masters and the career will sort of fall in place)
