I have been looking at loads of laptops in the 1300 euro ranged and its so hard to find one with all the right specs,

i found this and really like it, was going to buy a SSD separate and put it in.
    http://www.scan.co.uk/products/173-asus-g750jm-t4099h-25ghz-intel-core-i7-4710hq-12gb-750gb-hdd-2gb-nvidia-geforce-gtx-860m-dvdrw-w

But doing a bit of searching i found ou there is a 4gb gtx 860 that has twice the amount of cores, Which i would really like to have.

    Specs i'm looking for are.

    I7 4710MQ
    8-12 GB Ram
    GTX 860 4GB
    120gb ssd
    750+hdd
backlit keyboard (the child inside me must have :P

i went onto pc specialist and went onto there custom laptops to make one and see and it came out perfect but are there custom cases good, do they and and do they feel 1300 euro worth, like if the laptop above had the 4gb model i would have bought it straight.

Gaming laptops are a huge waste of money imo. They are hot, battery eating, and crap for upgrades.

You could get a killer pc and a decent tablet/laptop on the side for that money.

    Ha unfortunately blood is right.

But look. If you insist pc specialist do pretty decent ones. Had one ordered last month for someone. Good thing with them is the actually have the option for1080p screens. Not the fake ass "hd" ones.

    Hi LukeyKid

Although partially agree with Bloodbath. I spend half the year or so away from home and so use my laptop a lot. So need something to function as a desktop replacement for work/CAD stuff as well as gaming and entertainment/passtime.

    Recently got a a Gigabyte P25W V2

Best price I found by far was from Dabs.

    i7-4810MQ
    8G RAM
15.6" Screen - smaller than your spec but a lot handier to carry
    GTX 870M 3GB
    Hard Drive: 1TB
    your backlit keyboard

Bought additional 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD mSATA separately, room for 2xSSD's so may fit another later.

Some higher and lower features than your spec for a wee bit more, good a bit lighter than many of gaming offerings so more portable for when traveling, pretty good battery life. Giving over 5 hours when working/videos, drops to between 2-2.5 hours running games.

Doesn't have the silver trip shown on their webpage, all black.

Not for everyone but on the whole I'm very happy with it.

Thanks guys i understand that gaming and using intensive programs will run the battery a lot and yes they may get very hot but i won't be doing an over amount of gaming on it i have my pc at home for gaming it will be just used for collage and entertainment but i just don't see the point in spending 1200 on a basic model of make when i can make one from pc specialist for around the same price and hell of a lot more power, and i was looking at that laptop 323, nice laptop but once i get the SSD and extra ram for the laptop it will be over 1500 and bit much for me. i want the full package for 1350. and also any ways in insuring the laptop for robbery out side of my house.
