I wrote this thread 3 times and phone kept knocking off so going to keep it short and sweet.

I know this issue about the north has been done to death on here but with MMG comments after the scots vote about an all island referendum for a united ireland. I'm curious to know the outcome here on boards.

Would you vote yes or no

Until both sides up there learn to behave themselves I'd vote a big fat NO!

As I always say in these threads no.

    Parcel motel

Economic fire where you can burn money.

The children will light their flegs and get pissy. Sadly sending in the military and putting anyone holding a flag down would be frowned on by the UN

So you describe the part of this island that's part of the union as a cesspit and then advocate the part that's not in it to rejoin...logic has failed somewhere there in your thought process!

Why separate ? Couldnt we just level it all and start again ?

People are getting fed up with Governments and the level of control they are exerting over individuals. Some richer states in the US, up to 40% would like to breakaway.

No. Until they can get on with each other properly and until they can pay their own way. There's no way we could subsidise to the tune of €12billion+ per annum like the UK does.

NO! NO! NO! Ulster says NO!

Why would people play into the hands of the murdering shinner thugs who terrorised the people of the north throughout the troubles?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,127 ✭✭✭✭Gael23

    Probably No.
I think its more important that people can live their lives in peace and remain divided
