Posting this for a friend. She lives with a girl who wears very very strong perfume. How would you even go about dropping a hint to her or could you even go there without sounding awful? Any tips appreciated thanks

I find particular perfumes (not necessarily heavy ones) make me feel physically ill. I could put it on, like the smell, one hour later feel sick.
Maybe ask the other person to only spray in morning so that it is gone in the eve.

    Your perfume makes me sick.

Just say it. I would because I'm someone and I would actually get migraines and vomit over strong smells.
