hello. Going to Rome next week.
Does anybody know what is the law as regards baby seats and taxies.

Is it law to use them in a taxi or can you bring a baby on your lap ?

Our baby is 10 months old.

It's mandatory for a baby / child to be secured in a proper seat as far as I can recall. I would imagine plenty of taxis may have a seat in the boot etc anyway.

Not sure if you want to hold your 10 month old on your lap in Rome, have you seen the way they drive there? ;)
