    Hi Guys,

I dont mean to hijack the thread, i am going through something similar at the moment with a girl i had been seeing, she is a few years older then me, things had being going well between us but her circumstances changed and she moved back in at home and there was just more pressure on our relationship as a result. Hence she recommended a "break" six weeks ago and im still in sort of limbo over it. I still find myself looking at whatsapp and facebook and it eats me up abit and consumes me. The thing is we work together and may often bump into eachother at work so i am not sure how do i go about cutting all ties. Part of me doesnt want to, i mean i really value our friendship and so does she. The more its gone on the more i think i need the space because i feel myself questioning what i want.
    all replies welcome!

In my own personal opinion there is no such thing as a break... you're either together or you're not.. and definately after 6 weeks - You're not.!! Some people don't have the courage to finish a relationship so they use the excuse of "a break" to soften the blow...
    She moved out
You have had no contact for 6 weeks

You are single. You can only move on once you decide to do so and the sooner the better.
Delete her from Facebook and only contact her in work if it is directly to do with a work situation.

    Best of luck OP

As mentioned already a 'break' is typically a euphemism for wanting to end it, period. Head high OP and take it on the chin, it's all you can do in such circumstances.
