    I almost died today.

I was on a bus today and dying for the toilet. I don't like using bus toilets and wanted to keep it in until I got to my destination which I hadn't much time left.

But no, I couldn't wait, had to use the bus toilet, with the bus doing so many twists and turns and whatever rush I was in I mustn't have locked the toilet door properly. And the door fly's open, me on the toilet. Bus load of people looking in on me.

    I was mortified.

In the UK, they have them down the very back of the bus. Ok , the back of the bus saw me.

Whereas in Ireland, they're normally in the middle of the bus, but down some steps. No one sees you.

I thought you were going to say that the door flung open and you lunged forward from the bus rounding a bend and ended up in some mans lap with your knickers around your ankles

    Scarla' for ye, OP!

Walked across the square close to my house last week wearing a dress, bare legs, sandals. Big gust of wind comes along out of nowhere (there's never any wind here) and blows the dress up around my chest in broad daylight. Square packed full of people. Everyone saw.

Tbh, have been embarrassed so many times now I don't get embarrassed anymore. The embarrassment switch is broken from overuse.

I've fairly bad IBS, I'm either permanently embarrassed or completely immune to it at this stage.

    Not in Dublin.

Everywhere is a toilet when you're desperate enough!

Surprised to read this. In every other "bus toilet" story I have heard, everybody keeps their dignity intact.

Adult nappies are the only solution for bus journeys.

Was out one day and saw that, up ahead of me, was a woman I don't like. Instead of saying hello and getting into the inevitable chit-chat, I pulled my phone out and pretended I was taking a call.

I was giving it loads, saying "yeah yeah, oh I know" into the phone, when it rang.

Just as I was passing the woman by.
The look she gave me was pitiful.

Was delivering post to a building a few months back. Building has a few floors with a few different companies in it. Came back down stairs to the security guard at reception after making delivery.

    Me : That owl b**ch on the 4th floors a c**t.
Security guard : Tell me about it son, been married to her the last 30 years!

    OUCH!
