They are all varying degrees of awful; try a few and see which one you find the least repulsive :)

None, don't allow food or drink of any kind in the car and clean the interior regularly. It's not quite an allergy but I get nauseous when any kind of fake scent gets up my nose so I've never bought an air freshener for my car.

I love the yankee candle ones too. Or get a bottle of lemongrass or lavender essential oil, put a few drops on a tissue and leave it in the car.

Dr Marcus are class. Got the car recently valeted and they put in an ocean breeze one, epic smell. Never seen them on sale in shops though, they sell through their website though I think. There are loads of different scents.

    Actually it was this one

I've got a Meguiars Interior cleaner that leaves a nice scent, not strong or obvious, just smells like clean :D

I got a topaz one a few weeks ago and thought there was a great smell from it but I got another one the other day and they must use a different smell for them now.

Otherwise magic tree - New car smell. Just don't buy them from Tesco, there like 4.50 in there. The pound shop or 1.49 shop sell them.

I like the jelly belly ones Halfords sell. Also had them a few weeks back.

The only problem is they don't last very long.

Detailing Shed are doing a new range of Air Fresheners by a company called 50 Cal. The Berry Bomb is lovely and a little goes a long way:

Are you serious? They are absolute dirt and smell like toilet cleaner! My local petrol station has a badket full of them on sale at 99cent!

    Best Car Air freshners are as follows;

Magic Tree Black Forest, (not black ice)
    Ambi Pur/febreeze "Amazon Rain"
    California Car Scents

Clean Cotton or the Baby Powder would be my recommendation.

Avoid the Amercian Football leather one. Horrible.

Well I found them to be nicer than magic trees, have a fresh smell, and last longer too....

OP, if you like the "Black Ice" magic tree, try the "Black Forest" one instead. They are a mix of "Black Ice" and "Forest Fresh" but a lot more subtle and not as overpowering as Black Ice which smells of cheap aftershave.

This is by far the nicest smelling Magic Tree but can be quite hard to find.

I take pride in having a clean and well kept car and for the interior, I combine the "Black Forest" magic tree with Ambi Pur "Amazon Rain" and always get compliments on how nice my car smells.
