Hi guys just looking to get DNA swing fitting done with a good fitter that stocks mizuno or uses the DNA system. Why you might ask cause I've tried all kind of different irons recently and sold them all and still playing my old mizuno mp 30 and still hitting them well enough but just want to get fitted properly again. I got fitted 6 years ago when unwashed playing a lot of golf and was playing of 2hc. Then took break with work and family and lost of interest for 5 years playing of rusty 6 now and just want to get the clubs rechecked with lies and still see if the Dg s300 shafts are still ok for me.

Anyway I'm looking for good fitting centre. I'll not go to hallpenny, mcguirks or any of them stores unless I was buying off the rack. Was at foregolf 4 years ago and found them ok but bit I don't know cold. I know fair bit about fitting and the lad that was there didn't like me asking him questions or looking at the screen or results.

I'm up in mongahan, carrickmacross to be precise don't mind travelling if it's worth it.

So has anyone been or used good fitting centre lately.

Also some places beside me have fitting centres but not a great selection on shafts or even irons

Progolf in athlone used to do the DNA fitting, not sure if they still do. Might be worth a phone call.

I know you said you don't want to go to McGuirks, and I kinda agree with you, but they do have the DNA swing analyser if that's the only thing you were looking to get info from. Long way to travel though just for that.
Foregolf are pretty good and from what I've read online there's no up charge for any steel shafts in the new mizuno range (open to correction on that, maybe it's just in the States) so in theory you could get fitted by FG and buy from your own pro.

Ah yeah but they charge you 100euro for a fitting regardless if you buy anything. Unless the charges ha e dropped. Plus diesel going down either way be more expensive. Even when I was down with them last time in foregolf it was between dg s300 and another shaft I can't remember but I know to reshaft my clubs would of been 400euro. That's about 3 Years ago.

It's only €50 for a driver fit or an iron fitting (half hour), the full bag is €100 (full hour).
You do know they're in Dunshoughlin now as opposed to Naas ?

But, yeah I see your point. Tbh if you were in or around DG s300 before, you're probably still there or thereabouts. Is the ball going where you want it to or do you feel the irons aren't working for you ? That's probably the question.

The muzino DNA takes 5 mins to do and anywhere you get it done it will be the same.

I know that's where I was. Irons I am fine with them it's more or less the lie or the irons I'm looking to see if they are still good. But I can handle the s300 I like the feel of them and can hit them perfect it's the dispersion but there is a local pro now that finally got his equipment up to scratch regarding lie boards and actually fitting of clubs. He only is getting settled in now so might give it a go and work with the irons on lie angles. Get back down to low handicap again below 3 and then worry about new irons and shafts.

But I'll go get new driver fitted. I rather see the flight of the shot in real time instead of places like American golf. Don't know if mc guirks do have inside hitting areas. Hallpenny does. But might see about foregolfas they seem to be the only place around that do kits of brands
