Shared down pipe

I live in a terraced house. The shared cast iron down pipe runs down the front of my property into a drain in my garden.
I have just noticed that my neighbours have replaced the cast iron piping with a plastic one. They have also changed its position so that it is now on their side of the fence though it still flows into the drain in my garden. They didn't have my permission to enter my garden nor did they ask permission to change the drain pipe. Can I get them to change it back? I liked it as an original feature on my house.
Also I had it inspected and cleaned in the last year and it was fine.

    Things to check:

    1. The title deeds, to see if there is anything about relevant rights or easements.

    2. The location of the boundary - although you seem to be fairly sure that the pipe is definitely located on your property.

Wow! The prospect of water charges forces people to engage in the theft of rain water!

Eh... no. No crime, no time, no vodka and lime.

Love thy neighbour, even when they kuff up the front aspect of thy dwelling - and all that.

Bite the bullet, slag Bono's mullet, call the-e-e-e edge bald,

Guitar solo, fade and exit, then - one encore only.

Hey, its my pipe too, and its definitely my drain,
You can keep the water, but -
Can - you - feel - my pain?
    I just need a quarter

So I can finish this song....
    Won't be long...
