hi im trying to get as much information about the preliminary exam as possible. I'm looking at starting a career as a solicitor and I have to do the preliminary course. Has anyone done it and give me some information about the papers, can I get any example papers to study? Can you do any pre courses on it? thanks for any advice..

hi I have to the preliminary exam before I can do the FE-1 exam I was wondering has anyone do it. I know it consists of three papers. English, Irish Government and Politics and General Knowledge. I was looking it up and Dundalk IT did do a pre course to help you on the preliminary exam but don't do it anymore. I'm just looking for information if anyone has done it or can you get past papers to study etc

The Law Society website gives past papers and a list of prep courses.

That recommended reading list is insane for a preliminary exam.

I know people who didn't read that many books all through the course of their undergraduate education.

Of course, I'd never admit that myself...
