hi, I have my iPad around 3 years and the iOS was never updated. Under settings, general there is no option to update and I can't find a download on the apple site. Can anyone point me in the right direction please?

iOS 5 or better is required to update-on-the-device (also referred to as OTA). Look in Settings > About for version info.

If you can update on-device, your only option is to use a PC or Mac with iTunes.

Nothing under settings > general > software update?

Try plugging it into iTunes and upgrading through there. Although I would say if you're on an iPad 2 you'll notice a good bit of slowdown on newer software.

Yes for the first time. I'm seriously thinking of downgrading. I will try a restore first.

Same here. Safari freezes a lot.

Safari seems slow to access sites I visit regularly such as boards and RTE News. Pinch to home screen is a bit stuttered, too.
