Partnership wound down / RBN2A form

    Hi

I entered into a partnership with 2 other guys last year. The partnership started in April 2013 and I left in early Sept 2013.

The 2 remaining guys only registered the partnership for tax purposes earlier this year, after I left. They have now taken on a full time employee.

Do I need to sign an RBN2A form to exonerate myself from being liable for tax such as PAYE/PRSI/Universal Social Charge?

If Ineed to sign the RBN2A for should I back date it to Sept 2013?

    Thanks.

Sorry, the title is a bit misleading. The partnership wasn't wound down. I just left. The partnership is still operating. It's two partners instead of three. Thanks.

The RBN2A is a CRO document and has no impact on your tax obligations.

When you were a partner you should have registered with Revenue for income tax personally either by submitting a TR1 or registering online. You should submit a Form 11 for any years you were a partner even if you received no income from the partnership.

To de-register from income tax you must deregister from income tax with the Revenue (Form TRCN1 or complete online)
