best bang for buck graphics card?

I have a pc with an Intel Core i7-3770 CPU and 16 GB DDR3 memory and am looking for advice on a good value graphics card to do me the next few years.
Budget wise would like to keep it sub €200 (but could spend a bit more for the right card) and I also need to get a decent 500W+ PSU (any recommendation also welcome) and 256 GB SSD which I'm budgeting around €150ish for both.

I've heard good things about the GTX 750 TI and its a decent price but am open to suggestions. I'll initially be using it for gaming on my HD tv until I get enough room to setup a desk and monitor in the future.
    Thanks in advance.

I would wait a second and see hoe market shakes up after 970 and 980 launch. 970 is a cracker of a card and it should not take long for Red team to counter attack.

If you plan on gaming then 750ti is a bit low stroke for your system m8.

GTX 750 TI is a very good card at the moment for the price but you will notice next year that it will not preform as well with newer games. When you are talking about bang for buck you also have to consider the time between your next replacement card. If you can use SLI id go for GTX 750 TI now and then another GTX 750 TI next year and that will keep you going for a good while and the second card will not cost you as much next year.

But if you only want to buy the one card its worth investing a little more cash for R9 280 3GB as there will be an extra year / year and a half before you start to notice a down in performance compared to a single GTX 750 TI.

I personally am a big fan of crossfire / SLI because it just makes it a little cheaper for you to keep your system playing all the newest games playing on the highest graphics with a stable frame rate of 60 or more.

Thats only assuming you want to play on completely max out your graphical settings in all games.

As for PSU I always go for Corsir. The 600 watt one so you have room to upgrade and there for save you money on buying a new one again.

    I don't think the 750Ti supports Sli.

It's a good card but it would be a shame with that setup to go for that particular card, it's more of a budget champion.

For the €200 mark I'd be looking at the R9 280 really.

It's a good card... You could probably get the seller to part with it for a bit less too. There's always a risk buying and selling second hand, but I've done both via that site multiple times and haven't had a problem yet.

Sub 200 the best value card is the R9 280 but I'd possibly wait a bit to see what new cards come.

I'd definitely wait to see what AMD do to counter the 900 series.

People always say wait, and sometimes they are indeed right. But it's worth saying that the 280 for under 200 (some are available for 190 or less delivered) is a good buy if you're stuck for time.

In a way I would agree with this, if its a month or two month time period of waiting. In this case something should be cleared out in next few weeks. so its worth waiting a few days.

The prices of 760's, 770's. 780's and 780ti's have all been dropped by a price bracket, just not in Ireland yet it seems :/ , and AMD are going to announce "something" tomorrow. . . yeah wait at least a week more and then grab a great bargain from an English website I'd say.

Tempted to go for GTX 970.
Upgrading from a Evga GTX 680 SC.

Hoping to get €150 for my old card so, looking at round €200 euro for the upgrade.

Want it more for the 4GB of memory more than anything else.

    165 euro delivered for a Sapphire R9 280?

think I'm going to double my money and get a GTX 970, they seem to be the best value out there at the moment. It should last me a good length too so saves an upgrade in a couple of years of a cheaper card. Now to try and get a good deal on a good brand. Anyone recommend one?

The gtx 960 will be out later this month for around €250.

The Gigabyte G1 gaming 970 is the best 970 available afaik.
